Under the Influence: Far Cry 5
I’ve always found the psychology of cults and cult leaders fascinating, so when Ubisoft came to us looking for pitches for the latest edition of Far Cry - a game that revolves around the story of an enigmatic cult leader in smalltown Montana - I got excited. I pitched several concepts, and the one that stuck was Under the Influence - a deep dive mini doc into the world of cults, featuring experts on the topic who could give the game some real-world street cred and lure audiences into the story by posing the question, “How easy is it to fall prey to a cult?” The content included the main video, plus social and editorial support.
