Rock City: Los Angeles Under the Influence
John Singleton’s (RIP) show follows characters during the crack epidemic of 1980’s, so our challenge was making the world of the show fascinating for youth culture audiences who might not even know what Boyz in the Hood is (sad emoji). As Lead Creative on the project, I pitched a visual infographic that broke down the ways the 80’s crack epidemic is still influencing culture today, plus a branded video that dove deeper into the story - the real world story and the story of the show.
